Hi.

Here are my picks. Hopefully they will become yours too.

My Quick Trip to London

My Quick Trip to London

I got pretty lucky with the location of my work trip this time. I've always wanted to visit London! It's such a wonderful city. It reminded me so much of New York. There were so many amazing restaurants, it was incredibly walkable, there was so much history, and the tube can literally get you anywhere. The only noticeable difference was that British people were much friendlier than New Yorkers! ;)

I stayed at the Laslett Hotel in Notting Hill. Boy, was it cute and the staff was beyond friendly. My favorite perk? They give you a cell phone to use during your stay. Yes, you can call the US as much as you'd like!

My room! They literally think of everything. They give you a nice tote to take shopping with you, there was an umbrella waiting for me just in case it rained, and they had an international charger for me to use as well.

Notting Hill was as cute as everyone says it is. All the streets are really lined with these pastel colored, impeccable homes. How beautiful are they???

Out of all of them, I'd pick this one.

I took a late afternoon stroll through Hyde Park. It was quite picturesque. There were dogs running around, kids playing tag, and couples just enjoying the moment.

A step up from Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park!

The London Eye and Big Ben were pretty cool to see! I'm glad I woke up a little early one morning to go and see them.

I had to get a pic of the iconic double deckers! I did not ride in one. :(

I ate very well in London. What are people talking about when they say that London is not known for its food scene?!

A darling pub I ate standard English pub food at.

I ate a chicken artichoke pie at Maggie Joness . This puts our chicken pot pie to absolute shame.

London had some of the best Indian food I've ever eaten. I highly recommend Gymkhana and Dishoom.

This was the weirdest thing I ate. Head to Milk Train for all of their crazy ice cream combos.

Liberty London was the most amazing department store I have even been to. It's stunning. I loved the old creaky floors and stairs, the curated selection of brands, and the flower shop at the bottom!

I ended the trip on a very, very high note. Before my meeting, I snuck over to Kings Cross Station to take a picture at Platform 9 3/4

Worth the 20 minute wait!

I already cannot wait to go back to London. The next time it will be much longer than 5 days!
