Hi.

Here are my picks. Hopefully they will become yours too.

The Spice Jar in the Mission

The Spice Jar in the Mission

I probably walked by The Spice Jar 50 times, and thought to myself, "Gosh, I really need to try that place." Well, I finally did and it was awesome. The fare is Asian comfort. As soon as I see the word comfort describing food, I'm pretty much sold. The owners are the ones to serve you your food and are just the sweetest. They are always making sure you have everything you need and if the food tastes good. The only thing I was bummed about was not being able to try their chicken katsu. (It's a special menu item that they have only a few times per week.) Guess I'll be heading back there soon!

Its small, so I suggest getting there before 6:30pm to avoid a wait.

Not pictured is my ramen! It was so delicious. Next time, I'm going to try chicken karraage, chicken katsu, and the shu-mai!
