Hi.

Here are my picks. Hopefully they will become yours too.

Where to Get Ice Cream in San Francisco

Where to Get Ice Cream in San Francisco

As much as I don't want to admit this, I have tried almost all the good ice cream spots SF has to offer. I've found that I keep returning to these three.

Humphry Slocombe, I believe, is the highest in quality. The ice cream has all the perfect textures you are looking for. It's creamy and has the perfect amount of decadence. (But not too rich where you'll only be able to take a few bites and be done.)

This is my favorite ice cream flavor in the whole world. It's called Eaton Mess. It's only available in the summer months because they use fresh strawberries. This is a mix of California's freshest strawberries and marshmallow fluff. It doesnt get any better than that.

This is their winter flavor called A Christmas Story. This is my second favorite flavor.

Other good flavors are: Secret breakfast, malted milk chocolate, blueberry boy bait, and here's your damn strawberry.

My second favorite place to grab a scoop is Smitten. This is partly due to my obsession with chocolate chip cookie dough. Thier take on it is insane. It brought my love for cookie dough to a whole other level.

Here's the cookie dough up close and personal.

This is the only place I get two scoops.

This is their seasonal rhubarb crisp flavor that is out now. Get it before its gone.

Last but definitely not least, I love getting soft serve at Twirl n' Dip. You can keep it simple (like the image below) or you can have your cone dipped in chocolate. they are now only in Golden Gate Park, so if you're in the area, I recommend waiting in line to get your soft serve!

Other places I recommend are: Mr. and Mrs. Miscellaneous, Salt & Straw (if you can handle the line), Mitchells, and Shake Down
