High Road to Hana
For this trip to Maui I stayed in an Airbnb in Lahaina. It was really nice to be able to walk to downtown every morning for coffee. (Let's be real, the coffee in the hotel is never that great.) I also frequented this shop. It had a great selection of jewelry and home decor!
You have to make a trip to Leoda's. It's a little out of the way and you will need a rental car. I prefer going for lunch because it's hard for me to eat pie first thing in morning. They do have awesome breakfast items too though. I miss this place!
This was my last time doing the road to Hana. It's beautiful and you should absolutely do it at least once if you've never gone. I went the back way this time (the way that the rental car companies tell you NOT to go.) This way is SO much better and prettier in my opinion.
Iv'e been wanting to do the bamboo forrest hike in Hana for as long as I can remember. I finally made it! It was incredible. The only thing that was not so incredible was the insane amount of mosquitos. Bring spray!
Another silly dream of mine was to go to the Old Lahaina Luau. It's by far the best luau on Maui!
This trip was short and very sweet. I already cannot wait for a trip back to Maui.
