Hi.

Here are my picks. Hopefully they will become yours too.

My Trip to Portugal: Part 3

My Trip to Portugal: Part 3

After 'roughing' it for a bit in the Azores, we flew back to Lisbon to spend a few more days there. If you want to spend time in Lisbon's neighboring cities, you have to stay in Lisbon for at least a week. We still ate and drank a lot in the heart of Lisbon, but also ventured outside a bit and went to the beach town of Cascais.

We treated ourselves and stayed at the Memmo Principe Real. This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The room was incredible, the service was impeccable, and the views you wake up to were unreal. See below:

This is the most popular thing to do in Lisbon. No matter what time you visit Pasteis de Belem to get Lisbon's most famous pastry, it will be crazy busy. Don't worry they have their shit together and the line moves insanely fast.

We went to this really cool restaurant called Mini Bar by Jose Avillez. All the food is mini so you can try a ton of things!

In my first Lisbon post, I said you must visit the bar Penso Amor . Look at how cool this place is! There are a few surprises inside. I won't ruin them for you, you'll have to experience them for yourself.

We hailed an Uber and went to the beach town of Cascais for the day. It reminded me so much of home!

Another favorite bar of ours was Foxtrot . Again, you have the ring the doorbell to be let in. People say this bar is the best-kept secret of Lisbon. The bartenders are super helpful, the drinks are unique, and the decor is too cool.

We were 50/50 on visiting the castles. Last minute we decided to go. Hey, if Madonna bought a house in Sintra, it must be cool. The castles and palaces were insane. Its crazy to think that people lived in these massive spaces. (How did they keep them clean?)

The views from the top of the castle. Aka the lookout spot for invaders.

Headed to the palace next! And yes, we walked.
